The Knicks had signed Jared Jeffries to start at small forward because of his defense, but he broke his wrist before the season and gave Richardson a second chance.  Richardson was a huge disappointment last season, just like most of the other players on the team.  Richardson won’t give his job back if he keeps playing like he is now.  Q.R. is averaging 18.3 points, 6.3 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game so far this season. 

Richardson has been shooting well from all over the court.  Q is hitting 52.8% of his FGs, 47.2% of his 3′s, and 79.1% of his free-throws.  His excellent offensive play and shooting has opened up the court for his teammates.
