The Knicks have invited 37-year old shooting guard Allen Houston to training camp. Houston hasn’t played since the 2004-05 season with the Knicks due to knee problems. He has played in 839 games (727 starts) in his NBA career and he has averaged 33.7 minutes, 17.3 points, 2.9 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game. He also is a good shooter from three point range as he has nailed 40.2% of his attempts from that range. This was a no risk move for the Knicks who can just cut loose Allen Houston if he is not healthy.
