The New York Knicks add Morris Almond to Summer Team
The Knicks have added former Jazz’ first round pick Morris Almond to their summer team. Almond played in 25 games (1 start) for the Jazz last season and he averaged 10.2 minutes, 3.7 points, 1.4 rebounds and 0.3 assists per game. In his two years in the NBA, Almond has played in 34 games (1 start) in which he averaged 8.6 minutes, 3.1 points, 1.1 rebounds and 0.3 assists per game. This was a nice low risk, high reward signing for the Knicks as Almond has talent and was buried on the depth chart in Salt Lake City.
UPDATE: Morris Almond has decided to go to training camp with the Orlando Magic instead of the Knicks.
