The Knicks came out flat in the third quarter as they were outscored 34-15 and it doomed them. It also didn’t help that the Knicks only shot 37.9% from the floor while allowing the Heat to shoot 56.6% from the floor. Bad defense and bad offense = a 22 point loss. David Lee led the way for the Knicks in this game with 22 points, 9 rebounds and 2 assists. Wilson Chandler was also effective with 21 points, 7 rebounds and 2 assists in this game. Danilo Gallinari had the best game of his NBA career as he scored 22 points and snatched 6 rebounds in 28 minutes. The Knicks are now 0-1 on the season.
