The New York Knicks sign F/C Jonathan Bender

Blogged under General, Comings & Goings, Bloglockers, Big Knicks News, Front Page by alleyoop on Wednesday 16 December 2009 at 10:03 am

The Knicks have signed 28-year old F/C Jonathan Bender. Bender has not played since the 2005-2006 season with the Pacers. He has played in 237 games (27 starts) in his NBA career and he has averaged 15.0 minutes, 5.6 points, 2.2 rebounds and 0.6 assists per game. Don’t look for Bender to help the Knicks too much because he has really bad knees which will cause him to miss quite a lot of time.
