The Knicks just couldn’t hang with an inspired visiting Nets’ squad last night.  Jeremy Lin led the way for the Knicks offensively with 21 points, 7 rebounds, 9 assists and 4 steals…..but he was dominated by Deron Williams (38 points, 4 rebounds, 6 assists and 1 steal) last night.  Amare Stoudemire (17 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assists and 1 blocked shot) and Tyson Chandler (14 points, 8 rebounds, 1 assist, 2 steals and 2 blocked shots) also pitched in for the Knicks last night.  Carmelo Anthony returned to action, but he had a rough night as he only shot 4 of 11 from the floor.  Anthony finished up with 11 points, 3 rebounds, 6 assists and 1 steal in 37 minutes on the floor.  Landry Fields pitched in with 10 points, 11 rebounds, 1 assist and 1 steal last night.  The Knicks are now 16-17 on the year.
